Understanding Hearing Aid Costs at Berkeley Hearing Center: A Comprehensive Guide

by | Jul 2, 2023 | Hearing Aids, News, Patient Resources

It is no surprise that when confronted with hearing loss, the first and foremost question on most people’s minds is “How much are hearing aids?” Indeed, this query is not only practical but also reveals the ambiguity that shrouds the price of hearing aids across the industry.

Most clinics withhold their pricing for fear of competition or the potential for price comparisons by potential customers. However, at Berkeley Hearing Center, pricing is approached with an open mind and a belief in full transparency.

We firmly believe in the value that our treatment plans bring to our patients, and we are proud to make that information accessible. This guide provides a comprehensive understanding of the cost of hearing aids and our unique approach to pricing.

John Chakan

How did I get here? That’s an interesting story. I was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City. I dreamed of being a professional baseball player (Go Yankees!), but my promising career was cut short by a condition known as “not being good enough.” When I wasn’t playing baseball (or soccer or football or basketball) as a kid, I was spending my summers attending, and then working at, a summer camp in Northern California on a livestock ranch. While it might seem a bit incongruous for a suburban New Yorker to spend his summers milking cows, chopping wood, and canoeing down the Russian River, I fell in love with the interconnected community of summer camp, and I also fell in love with California.
