Hazel is a warm, fun, and unflappable presence, the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of the moment you walk in. A Bay Area native, she rings more than 10 years of experience in patient care and medical administration, and she genuinely enjoys helping people get the care they deserve.
Before joining Berkeley Hearing Center, Hazel spent a decade in the optical field as an optical assistant and assistant manager. She’s known for calm problem-solving and strong coordination, with a concierge-style approach that keeps visits running smoothly—from scheduling details and questions to next steps and follow-through. Hazel’s focus is on creating a seamless experience where patients feel supported, informed, and at ease.
Outside of work, Hazel enjoys spending time with her 11-year-old chihuahua, Camila, and taking her out for walks. She also loves listening to music, watching anime, and exploring new food spots. On weekends, you can usually find Hazel trying a new recipe at home or checking out a new restaurant around the Bay Area.
