Patient Care Coordinator
Jason Boyte brings a unique blend of creativity and compassion to his role at Berkeley Hearing Center. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in English literature. Jason works closely with patients to ensure they feel supported and cared for as he helps create a welcoming environment that eases the challenges of addressing hearing health.
With a background in music, writing, and graphic design, Jason has developed skills that translate seamlessly into his professional life. His lifelong passion for music began in his teenage years, leading him to play in various bands, with which he toured, headlining and opening on North American and European tours. This extensive musical background has profoundly deepened his appreciation for the intricacies of sound and the vital, often understated, role that hearing plays in enriching one's quality of life. He continues to actively pursue his musical interests, demonstrating a sustained connection to the world of auditory experience that benefits his work with patients.
Look for him in a band called The Vesuvians, with their reggae and soul sound. Outside of work, Jason enjoys practicing trumpet and spending time with his son, Jonas, who attends Berkeley High School.
